Beyond Industry 4.0: the technology that reaches where the ERP stops

In a few weeks, the halls of Bologna Fiere will fill up for MECSPE. It is the moment of the year when Italian manufacturing looks in the mirror. We will see super-fast robots, enormous machining centers, and a lot of innovation. But speaking daily with Plant Managers and Quality Managers, we know that the daily reality is often made up of problems that are much less "glamorous" but decidedly critical:

Looking at our latest implementations, we focused on modules that take bureaucracy off the shop floor to put it—organized and automated—into the cloud. Here is what we mean by useful digitalization:

1. Quality & Non-Conformance (NC): Enough with loose papers hanging on machines. Think of a tool that can manage the entire lifecycle of an anomaly: from opening the report to managing workflows, up to monitoring scrap. If a part isn't right, the system tracks the "why" and helps you not repeat the error.
2. Continuous Improvement & CAPA: Solving a problem is good; preventing it from recurring is better. Our tool for Improvement & CAPA digitalizes corrective and preventive actions, verifying their effectiveness over time. It is every ISO auditor's dream.
3. PPE Management without risks: Safety is not a game, but managing it is often an administrative nightmare. We have created a specific solution for PPE Management: device registry, assignment to personnel, and, above all, expiration monitoring. The system warns you before a helmet expires, not when the inspector arrives.
