Happy Birthday Google

Today Google turns 20.

It was 1998 when two students from Stanford University, Larry Page and Sergey Brin, designed a search engine capable of indexing millions of web pages and presenting them to user searches ordered according to an importance criterion, established by the innovative algorithm called PageRank.

Today Google is the most popular search engine used in the world, but not only. Big G, in fact, has expanded to more sectors: from advertising management to publishing, from Maps to videos with YouTube, from programs for browsing online with Chrome to the operating system for Android mobile devices which has crossed the finish line of 2 billion active devices in the world and has just celebrated its 10th anniversary.

The giant is celebrating, as expected, with a <a href=""https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-I_CIy3Uqx0"" target=""_blank"">Doodle which you can find <a href=""https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-I_CIy3Uqx0"" target=""_blank"">here. Best wishes!
