Application usage data for smartphones and tablets

Some very interesting data emerges from the research, such as:

- on average each user has 36 apps installed

- 26% of the apps installed are used daily

- 68% of the apps are social or communication

- 33% of the apps downloaded are recommended by others

- 62% of the apps are downloaded for a description eye-catching

- a couple of attributes considered fundamental for downloading an app are "makes it more life is easy"" (63%) and "multidevices experience" (57%)

- 1 in 4 apps are never used
