How much longer? The app that tells you when the bus is arriving

A mobile app for Android and iOs that tells you how long until the next bus arrives. &` the new smartphone application created by Seta.

The Emilian transport management company for the provinces of Modena, Reggio Emilia and Piacenza has developed an app to find out how many minutes remain until the bus arrives. ""How much longer?"" was created to meet the needs of public transport users who want to be informed in real time about their expectations.

The use of the application is simple and intuitive: it is simply access the app from your smartphone, enter the name of the stop and the line for which you want to know the next arrivals or select the stop directly from the carefully designed map. On the device screen therefore will appear the expected timetable, the waiting time and the table with all the routes on the line, making the app a tool for all those who use public transport to travel.

Furthermore, thanks to ""How much longer?"", Seta has available data relating to the functioning of its services. In fact, from a check carried out in the field, it was found that I was able to notice an fluctuation in arrival times of up to 7 minutes; oscillation which is also to be attributed to trips arriving ahead of schedule.

The smartphone app is already downloadable with the Reggio Emilia and Piacenza lines and is already available enjoying great success. Starting from the month of September it will be also available for Modena routes.

The app can be the first of a series of supports aimed at facilitating the use of the public transport service, potentially throughout Italy.
