E-commerce to fight the crisis
E-commerce helps against the crisis.
Twenty-five professional sellers, in just 24 months, recorded a growth of 62% in 2011 compared to 2010. The Scrooges 2.0 will not be at the levels of those in the United States, pioneers of 9-figure social networking, but they are also making their way on the Italian Internet, thanks to e-commerce and resourcefulness 2.0. Those who achieved turnover records sold in the ""Photography and Video"" and ""IT and PDAs"" categories.
E-commerce is also one of the highlights of the Digital Agenda. According to the twelve-point document of the Gentiloni Package, entitled ""Urgent measures for the development of demand for digital services"", the single rate to encourage e-commerce should be 10%. Research conducted by the School of Management of the Polytechnic of Milan shows that those who renew have fewer difficulties in the economic crisis and emerge from it sooner: approximately 70% of companies saw their turnover grow in the first half of 2011 compared to the same period in 2010; almost 40% the increase was double digit and exceeded 10%. Approximately two out of three companies increased their EBITDA, and for one in three the increase was more than 20%. Those who innovate with digital technologies emerge from the crisis first.
