We interview Francesca Martinelli (Communication Specialist) and Marco Torricelli (Head of Information Systems) to talk about the BeCMB project, an app for internal communication, which they stimulated and strongly supported by company top management.
The app is used by CMB users to be more close by and access contents and services useful for professional life easily and quickly.
THE INTERVIEW
- Francesca, because the idea of an app as a tool to support business activities of internal communication?
When the pandemic suddenly forced us to respect physical distancing, I realized how incomplete or too institutional were the tools we had to bridge the gap between employees and management, but also - in a more horizontal – among the employees themselves. From there we have begun to think, also thanks to a strong #digitalization strategy in progress, to convey information also through new digital tools capable of responding to new needs and requirements. of people. Our population is quite heterogeneous both in terms of geographical location in the area and age groups. We aimed to use current language: everyone uses #apps for work and leisure.
- Francesca, through the app have you achieved the set objectives and covered the needs you described to us?
I would say that we can say we are satisfied and that the need for a new way of communicating and staying in touch is been covered both thanks to the news section, plus institutional and informative, which thanks to the #community tool, which has created new narratives of corporate life.
- Marco, as an IT manager you have encountered difficulties in supporting the project from an architecture and data security point of view?
We worked with the #AWS cloud, building all the necessary integrations and always paying great attention to security and privacy. We started from the data present in our Data Center and integrated it into the app, making it available to users. The latest function added will allow consultation of pay slips. &` It was a great team effort to make sensitive and important information available to the workers on the project. Each IT department has worked with the aim of integrating data and information necessary for the proper functioning of the app.
- Francesca, do you consider the app complete or are you thinking about new addons and useful tools?
Absolutely, we have lots of ideas on potential #developments, also thanks to the contributions of users. The app is a tool designed to be dynamic and continuously evolving.
&` It is with real pleasure that we thank Francesca and Marco for the trust placed in Moko, for allowing us to get to know #CMB, its mission and the values of seriousness, passion and belonging.
Congratulations for the success that the project has already achieved from the golive and for the future perspectives on which they are already working.
