Penalties for those who exceed in SEO

Google announces penalties for websites that over-optimize, so as to reward those who bet on quality.

Optimizing a website is a good thing, a necessary thing, a useful thing. Exaggerating, however, could be counterproductive, since Google could see this attitude of excess as having purposes other than the simple desire to best serve users.

What Google intends to annihilate is the attempt to instrumentally exploit the engine's rules to impose its own content, all following strategies that leverage over-optimization in order to climb positions and attract more traffic.

When? In the next few months, probably already in the next few weeks. The idea is to offer a greater balance in terms of opportunities between those who produce quality content and those who exclusively produce SEO in quantity. By doing so, an imbalance of investments in the direction of optimization should be discouraged, obtaining better results on the engine and establishing a virtuous system capable of providing visibility and traffic with greater meritocracy.
