The customer's challenge
Angelo Po, a long-standing leader in the professional catering equipment sector, faced the strategic need to digitalize and streamline the B2B quoting process for its two brands: Angelo Po and Sagi. Until then, the network of partners and dealers relied on complex manual Excel files to configure intricate machinery, such as refrigerated bases. The challenge for Moko was clear: replace these spreadsheets with dedicated web-based tools capable of making dealers fully autonomous in product configuration, minimizing the risk of technical errors, and simplifying price list updates for the parent company.
The custom solution
Moko designed and developed two distinct, custom PHP web apps, optimized for mobile use, dedicated respectively to the Angelo Po and Sagi brands. While sharing the same architecture and a robust logical engine, the two platforms operate completely independently. Each features its own interface, component drawings, and specific product encodings.
To ensure maximum administrative control, separate back-offices were established. This allows the administrator to independently update user records and multi-currency price lists for each brand through a simple bulk Excel import. On the user side, a system of rigorous configuration constraints guides the operator—logged in via the company’s main website—step-by-step through complex parameters such as line type, structure, motor position, and compartment mix, blocking non-viable combinations in real time. Furthermore, the system intelligently handles non-standard requests: if a selected combination generates a product not found in the price list, the platform creates a personalized quote and invites the user to contact their dedicated sales representative directly to finalize the offer.
The results obtained
The result is a digitalized B2B ecosystem that has radically transformed operations. B2B clients and commercial partners of both brands now benefit from a fluid, guided user experience that concludes with the instant generation of a downloadable PDF quote. This document is complete with every technical detail: project drawings, exact product codes, energy class, and pricing profiled according to the user's specific price list. Moko has delivered two tools that not only eliminate configuration errors but also drastically shorten the entire workflow, granting B2B clients unprecedented autonomy in creating their own proposals.
